Ukraine. Nibulon to begin construction on new river terminal – 16.03.2010

Nibulon announced on March 12 that construction has started on a new river terminal for grains and oilseeds in the Gradyz’k village of Globynskyy district of Poltava region.

The terminal will be built on 4.1 hectares at an estimated cost of more than 100 million UAH, according to the company. Grain storage capacity will be 43,000 tonnes, and the daily capacity of dryers will be 4,000 tonnes.

The terrminal in Gradyz’k village will be Nibulon's fourth elevator complex in the Poltava region and the second facility in the Globyne district, according to the company.

Nibulon's investment in the Poltava region will include six elevator complexes with a total capacity of 396,000 tonnes, according to the company. The company said the new elevators should satisfy the needs of Ukrainian farmers who need access to bigger elevator capacities.
