The deficit of Ukraine's foreign trade in goods was estimated at $3.454 billion in January-July 2010, which was 9.5% more than in the same period in 2009, the State Statistics Committee reported on Monday.

As reported Agrarica Ltd referring to Jul 2010 foods export-import preliminary data, Ukrainian Jul 2010 WMP export equaled to 506 MT (for US$1.575 mn). As to Agrarica Ltd, Jul 2010 WMP export is down 87% against Jun 2010 in money terms (in physical volume - down 51.2%). As to report, since this MY beginning (Jan-Jul 2010) WMP export totaled 4,819 MT. As to Agro Perspective earlier report, Jun 2010 WMP export was 1,036 MT (for US$2.962 mn).
Russia lobby lowers beet sugar output view - 13.09.2010

The Russian Sugar Producers union main industry lobby on Monday cut its forecast for the country's white sugar output from domestic beets to between 3m and 3.1m tonnes tonnes from the previously expected 3.2m to 3.3m tonnes.
