Russian inspectors to check Ukrainian producers of meat, milk – 30.08.2010

Russian state inspectors will check again the Ukrainian enterprises producing meat and dairy products, the State Veterinary Medicine Committee of Ukraine reported.

Under the agreement, Rosselkhoznadzor from August 30, 2010 will hold a joint inspection of Ukrainian enterprises specializing in animal goods, including dairy products, beef, pork and poultry. According to the preliminary agreement, it is planned to examine about 20 Ukrainian enterprises. In May this year, Russian experts carried out regular inspections of 11 Ukrainian meat and dairy enterprises, and on 22 June 2010 the Federal Service for Veterinary and Phytosanitary Supervision introduced temporary restrictions on imports into Russia of the production by six Ukrainian producers.
