Ukraine: in February, the Crimea sold 97.4 thsd tonnes of grains – 11.03.2010

In February 2010, agricultural enterprises of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea (Ukraine) sold 97.4 thsd tonnes of grains, declared the Ministry of Agrarian Policy of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea.

As of the beginning of March, the region stocked nearly 253.6 thsd tonnes of grains, including 146 thsd tonnes of grains, storing in agricultural enterprises (milling grains share totaled 25.6 thsd tonnes). Feed-milling enterprises stocked 8.6 thsd tonnes of grains, including 2.4 thsd tonnes of milling grains, elevators stocked 99 thsd tonnes of grains, including 66.3 thsd tonnes of milling grains.

In 2009, the general production of grains in the Crimea totaled 1.7 mln tonnes.
