Ukrros to boost sugar output – 10.03.2010

Agricultural holding Sugar Union Ukrros is planning to increase the production of beet sugar in the 2010/11 season by 31.5% to 171,000 tons from 130,000 tons in this season. In the 2008/09 season, Ukrros produced 199,000 tons of sugar.

In the opinion of the Sokrat Group analysts, the production rise will leave a positive impact on the financial condition of the holding, because the prices of sugar next season will be relatively high for Ukraine.
