RAW MILK IS DEFICIENT IN UKRAINE – 04.03.2010

Ukrainian operators of dairy market complain about significant decrease of raw milk supply. And officials with pride report about increase of agricultural products’ output in the country. The Ukrainian manufacturers of dairy products do not believe the official. They even on the eve of spring cannot buy necessary volumes of milk in any way, even under very high prices. There is no raw milk, and even on the eve of spring the price for it is rather high. In the end of February a few manufacturers could reduce the prices for raw milk. Recently dairy plants buy milk from households basically at the prices 2.3–2.7 UAH/l in the majority of regions.
