Only two A/H1N1 flu cases registered in Ukraine – 26.10.2009

For today, only two swine flu cases (A/H1N1) have been revealed in Ukraine and both were localized, says Chief State Sanitary Officer Oleksandr Bilovol.
 
According to him, the first case was recorded with a student who arrived in Ukraine from Detroit (USA). Bilovol said that the disease was revealed timely and the patient was taken into hospital and discharged later after rendering a necessary aid to him. The chief sanitary officer noted that more than 100 persons contacted this man, and all of them were examined and the infection was thereby localized. The second case happened to a tourist arriving in Ukraine from Indonesia. He was also was taken to hospital and discharged soon in a satisfactory condition. Bilovol stressed that the situation surrounding the new influenza in Ukraine is under control and no other A/H1N1 case have been reveled. He also added that a total of 500,000 cases of A/H1N1 flu have been registered all over the world.
