IAMO Forum 2009 - Call for Papers – 26.01.2009
Dear colleague,
we have the pleasure to announce the 2009 IAMO Forum titled: "20 Years of
Transition in Agriculture: What has been achieved? Where are we heading?" to
be held on 17-19 June 2009 at the IAMO in Halle (Saale), Germany.
With an eye to the 20 year anniversary and international dimension of the
fall of the Berlin Wall, the IAMO Forum aims to review and synthesise
developments in the agri-food sector and rural areas in Central and Eastern
European Countries and to reflect on future developments and perspectives of
the food and agricultural systems in these regions.
The 2009 IAMO Forum will be combined with a special session organized by the
European Review of Agricultural Economics (ERAE) and the European
Association of Agricultural Economics (EAAE). The event will comprise 3-4
invited papers, to be published in a Special Issue of the ERAE together with
a selection of the best papers presented at the Forum that fall within the
area covered by the ERAE.
